Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a difference between a Dietitian and a nutritionist?
All Registered Dietitians are nutritionists, but not all nutritionists are Dietitians. Anyone can call themselves a nutritionist, but only Registered Dietitian Nutritionists are science based, medically recognized healthcare practitioners. They are credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and licensed by their practicing state. For the most trusted source on nutrition, look for the RDN credentials.

A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist can offer expert advice for any nutrition related health issue, help manage chronic diseases (high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes), navigate the world of food allergies, and provide nutrition wellness education.

Clients come to us with chronic complaints of fatigue, GI disturbances, headaches, brain fog, food insensitivities, and are usually frustrated over having no results from their current nutrition and/or supplement plan.
